Program Manager, Automotive/E-drive (German-based)
Location: Germany
Position: Program Manager, Automotive/E-drive
Responsibilities:
● Product development
● Technical customer advice during the development phase.
● Development support for the manufacturing and functional design of components and assemblies as part of co-engineering.
● Coordination of the departments involved internally during product development.
● Support of the concept engineering in the creation of preliminary technical calculations
● Product creation
● Project responsibility from kick-off to process validation.
● Responsible for the on-schedule and high-quality implementation of new projects through to process validation.
● Take measures if the project is behind schedule
● Project responsibility for costs and deadlines. Moderator and coordinator of the various departments.
● Support the procurement of project-specific production equipment, test systems, handling and automation systems of all kinds.
● Responsible for the creation of all release documents according to customer requirements.
● Responsible for creating a basic FMEA
● Authority to issue instructions within the framework of product creation/product development
Requirements:
● Technical education, further training as an engineer with Bachelor or Master degree, specializing in mechanical or vehicle construction is preferable
● Experience in the manufacturing process of LSR/elastomer molded articles and/or LSR/elastomer composite parts
● Knowledge of thermoplastic processing would be an advantage
● Good knowledge of project management and command of the necessary tools
● CAD knowledge is an advantage
● Good knowledge of ISO TS 16949 and general quality requirements
● Good in English and Chinese; German is an advantage
