Purchasing Manager

Position:Purchasing Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead, coordinate and implement all related purchasing activities to achieve business targets
• Full responsible for purchase components, negotiation of component pricing at best possible price and regularly monitors
• Develop supplier panel through benchmarking studies; Lead the supplier management and performance evaluation
• Provide periodic reports on negotiated cost savings, supplier ratings, etc.
• Manage and participate in the supplier selection process to ensure that the purchased product conforms to specified requirements and is delivered on time to meet production goals
• Support purchasing budgeting and cost controlling process
• Drive continuous improvement of purchasing process and methods to ensure quality, cost, delivery and efficiency
• Liaise with within the Group to provide sourcing service from China for the worldwide business needs;
• Execute yearly sourcing objective, supplier development plan, sourcing budget, sourcing roadmap
• Participate in the development and implementation of global sourcing strategy and projects
• Maintain effective commutations with other cross-functional managers with respect to purchasing aspects
• Complete other work assigned by immediate supervisor
Requirements:
• Technical college degree or above
• Purchasing working experience in a similar role of EU/US company
• Familiar with quality tools such as APQP, PPAP
• Preferably purchasing experience of mechanical and electronic components
• Proactive thinking and implementation ability
• Good in English (both written and oral)
• Analytic and logical thinking
• Outstanding communication skills
• Hard-working attitude
• Strong teamwork spirit
• Loyal, stable and reliable
