  • Strategic Purchasing Manager
  • Location: Suzhou
  • Position: Purchasing Manager
  • Responsibilities:
  • ● Lead, coordinate and implement all purchasing activities to achieve business targets
    ● Full responsible for purchase components, negotiation of component pricing at best possible price and regularly monitors
    ● Develop supplier panel through benchmarking studies; Lead the supplier management and performance evaluation
    ● Provide periodic reports on negotiated cost savings, supplier ratings, etc.
    ● Manage and participate in the supplier selection process to ensure that the purchased product conforms to specified requirements and is delivered on time to meet production goals
    ● Support budgeting and cost controlling process
    ● Drive continuous improvement of purchasing process and methods to ensure quality, cost, delivery and efficiency
    ● Maintain effective commutations with other cross-functional managers with respect to purchasing aspects
    ● Complete other work assigned by immediate supervisor
     
  • Requirements:
  • ● Technical college degree or above
    ● Purchasing working experience in a similar role of EU/US company
    ● Familiar with quality tools such as APQP, PPAP
    ● Preferably purchasing experience of powertrain components, such as axle, transmission, etc.
    ● Proactive thinking and implementation ability
    ● Good in English (both written and oral)
    ● Analytic and logical thinking
    ● Good communication skills
    ● Good working attitude
    ● Teamwork spirit
    ● Loyal and stable
