Indirect Procurement Manager
Location: Shanghai
Position: Indirect Procurement Manager
Responsibilities:
● Responsible for supplier strategy, spend analysis, supplier management, Cost optimization
● Take charge of contract management and Purchasing Contracts maintenance
● Be accountable for the Procure to Pay processes for indirect services
● Lead management of the critical supplier relationships in alignment with management team
● Review supplier performance reports consistent with agreed requirements to insure consistency with quality, service and delivery objectives.
● Responsible for the identification of annual improvement plans across the indirect spend categories
● Work with suppliers to improve current performance and develop new opportunities
● Competitive tendering of bigger amount contracts
● Communicate and engage senior management on opportunities with suppliers; Secure necessary buy-in for the sourcing projects
● Coordinate and support projects with project managers
● Ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies through effective communication and relationship building with internal customers
● Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
● Years’ diversified procurement and operational experience
● Good understanding of process, production and operations systems, purchasing, and project management
● Sourcing experience of investments or engineering/construction projects
● Good in English (both spoken and written)
● Excellent communication skills with all relevant stakeholders
● Able to build strong collaborative working relationship with external stakeholders.
● Able to interface with multiple levels of management, with good communication and collaboration abilities
● Willingness, determination and motivation to succeed
● Highly credible, honest and reliable
